THE WRITER WHO MOST INSPIRED ANDY

It’s a close run thing between Clive King and James Herriot. King’s Stig of the Dump remains a book that effortlessly transports the young reader into a magical world while Herriot just puts a smile on your face while evoking places and people with simplicity and wit.

ANDY ABOUT KATE

Kate was recommended to me after my memoir was featured on The Alan Titchmarsh Show and ever since then she has wowed with her tremendous knowledge of the publishing industry, her range of contacts and an unparalleled ability to get things done. For someone like me who writes for both children and adults, she’s the ideal agent.

KATE ABOUT ANDY

Andy is a hugely versatile author who has always made me laugh - from the first book I read about him teaching in the Yorkshire Dales, to his brilliantly accessible books for children. He’s also terrifically hard-working and brilliant at author visits.
